US Foods has acquired Watertown, New York, U.S.A.-based broadline distributor Renzi Foodservice for an undisclosed amount.

US Foods, headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, U.S.A., is one of the country’s largest foodservice distributors, but its recent purchase of Renzi Foodservice is the first acquisition for the company since April 2020 and the first under its new CEO Dave Flitman, who was hired in November 2022. Flitman said the acquisition will allow US Foods to further expand its reach into central upstate New York, where the company does not have a distribution center.
