Sunwell Technologies announces rebrand to Deepchill
Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada-based Sunwell Technologies has decided to rebrand as Deepchill Technologies, taking the name from its cooling and preservation technology.
Deepchill is a cooling system that was designed by Sunwell that uses slurry ice technology to “provide fast, uniform, and long-lasting cooling” for companies that need cold-chain logistics. The technology, according to the company, delivers faster cooling with lower contamination risk and lower energy costs, while also reducing the amount of labor required.
The success of the company’s technology is what led it to rebrand itself, and the new brand takes inspiration from Deepchill.
“The new logo is inspired by fundamental shape of Deepchill crystals, colors of the cold in nature, and the letters D and C,” the company said.
The new branding covers the full suite of products and according to Deepchill brings them to a “singular focus” emphasizing cooling solutions. The company added that the brand is part of its focus on developing its technology.
“For 44 years, we have continuously introduced disruptive technologies to the world, and we are looking forward to announcing our new product lines in the coming months,” Deepchill Founder and President Vladimir Goldstein said in a release. “With our new brand and pioneering technology, we remain true to our mission: to deliver Deepchill solutions that enhance product quality, improve sustainability and drive our clients’ business.”
The company plans to exhibit its chilling technology Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America in the company’s booth – Booth #1375. The expo runs from 13 to 15 March in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
