Seamark launches its first ready-to-cook range at Seafood Expo Global 2018
Seamark announced that they’re entering into the world of ready-to-cook seafood with multiple prawn based products.
Three products: “King Prawn Stir Fry,” “King Prawn Pak Choi,” and “King Prawn Quinoa” were all unveiled on 24 April at SEG. All three are freshly frozen, prawn and vegetable dishes that can be quickly cooked and eaten.
The stir fry is a “wok-ready mixture of peeled king prawns and green beans, red peppers, sweetcorn, water chestnuts, mushrooms, beansprouts and bamboo shoots,” said Seamark in a release.
The pok choi is similar, with the prawns combined with sugar snap peas, spinach, soy beans, and of course pak choi.
The Quinoa uses brown rice, curly kale, leek tomatoes, red onion, and spices alongside the prawn and quinoa portions.
All three of the products can be cooked in eight minutes.
The products represents Seamark’s first foray into ready-to-cook products, but the company has been producing other retail products such as samosas, spring rolls, parathas, and other finger foods.
The three new ready-to-cook products will be on display, with cooking demonstrations, at Seamark’s booth at Seafood Expo Global. You can find them in Hall 6, stand # 6-1253.
