Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.-based CQF, which does business as Seafood Analytics, has released its new CQR 3.0 seafood quality monitoring system.

Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.-based CQF, which does business as Seafood Analytics, has released its new CQR 3.0 seafood quality monitoring system.

The waterproof CQR “provides instantaneous objective food quality measurements with the touch of one button and connects to the CQF app via Bluetooth,” according to the data analytics service technology, implementation, and certification company.

The new model has a reduced size that now fits in a pocket, and also allows for previously frozen seafood to be measured for quality, Seafood Analytics said in a press release.

“In a time of rising inflation, CQ Foods is proud to be improving the user experience while dramatically lowering the cost of the CQR solution,” it said.

In conjunction with the release of the CQR 3.0, Seafood Analytics is launching the CQF 1.0 app, which is compatible with both iOS and Android systems.

“This new app includes a consumer and commercial user interface that allows for complete supply chain usability. Key features of the CQF app include instant visualization of CQR measurements, supplier comparisons, regional, and global quality comparisons,” it said. “This CQF app is beneficial for all parts of the food supply chain from the harvester, processor, and distributor to retail including grocery and restaurant chains and foodservice.”

CQF is a maker of a suite of training and certification protocols used to measure perishable foods, including seafood, poultry, meat, and fruits and vegetable quality.

“Currently being implemented in the operations of several major national grocery chains and some of the largest restaurant chains in the U.S., CQ Foods products and programs help retailers, distributors, and other parts of the chain of custody demonstrate and verify quality, make better inventory management and logistical decisions, and identify supply chain and operational value improvement opportunities,” it said.

Seafood Analytics also has offices in Corpus Christi, Texas; Juneau, Alaska; Detroit, Michigan; and Omaha, Nebraska.
