Yamato Corporation, a global developer in the weighing equipment and systems industry, will be highlighting its waterproof portion control weight scale at the upcoming 2016 Seafood Expo North America (SENA) event, running from 6-8 March at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Attendees who visit the company’s booth (No. 574) will be able to observe the PPC-300WP waterproof scale, a IP68/65 portion control scale that comes equipped with a stainless steel construction and a sizable, removable platform, which promotes easier cleaning. What’s more, the PPC-300 comes complete with a LCD display and accommodations for multiple weighing units including lb, kg, oz and lb/oz, and capacities of 4.4 lb to 44 lb (2 kg to 20 kg).

Seafood processors who use the scale can power it with the help of four “D“ size batteries for 1,400 hours of continual use or through an optional AC adaptor.

Key buyers for the waterproof scale include restaurants, kitchens, markets and factories. The tech is able to carry out checkweighing, grading and fixed weight functions.
