Jack Crouch leaves MSC; Todd Raasch promoted to Regal Springs managing director

- Zurich, Switzerland-based tilapia producer Regal Springs has promoted Todd Raasch to managing director of North America.
“He’s a veteran in the industry, and he knows absolutely everybody. We’re really delighted about the appointment,” Regal Springs Head of Marketing and Media Relations Vernon Bradley told SeafoodSource.
- The Norther Pelagic Group (Norpel) announced Michael Tierney has been promoted to chief commercial officer to lead commercial activities, business development, sales procurement, supply-chain innovation, and customer service. Tierney has been at the company since 2017, working his way up from senior vice president of business development. He has spent the past five years executing strategic efforts to diversify Norpel’s product base and extend its partnership opportunities, the company said in a press release.
"I am excited and honored to take on this new role and to lead our commercial efforts as we continue to grow and innovate," Tierney said in a press release. "I look forward to working with our talented team to build on our successes and deliver even greater value to our customers."
- After six years, Jack Crouch has left the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and joined SCS Global Services as its sustainable seafood sales manager. According to his LinkedIn, Crouch began the position in March 2023.
