Growing live lobster sales top priority for Maine company in 2016
Growing live lobster sales is at the top of the docket in 2016 for U.S.-based seafood distributor Maine Coast.
The company, which specializes in shipping Maine and Canadian lobster worldwide, has been focusing on upping its marketing efforts to achieve this goal, explained Maine Coast Marketing Manager Annie Tselikis.
“We have increased our marketing efforts to build our brand and communicate the Maine Coast story to our customers,” Tselikis told SeafoodSource.
Additionally, Maine Coast is preparing to make a major investment in 2016 – the details surrounding the investment are slated to be revealed during this year’s Seafood Expo North America event, to be held in Boston from 6 to 8 March. The announcement will be made at 11:00 a.m. EST on 6 March at the company’s booth (No. 2033) located within the Maine Lobster Pavilion, said Tselikis.
Having exhibited at the SENA show since 2012, Maine Coast is approaching the 2016 event with the same eye toward facilitating meaningful and memorable connections with its customers.
“As a SENA exhibitor, we are able to use that time to have important face-to-face meetings with our existing customers and engage with new customers,” concluded Tselikis.
