Food Network star teams up with Louis Kemp, GAPP to promote surimi for Super Bowl LV
Food Network TV personality Nancy Fuller has teamed up with seafood brand Louis Kemp Crab Delights to promote surimi recipes in time for Super Bowl Sunday, the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) announced this month.
Fuller, a chef and social media mogul, is working with Louis Kemp Crab Delights to create unique surimi preparations that U.S. football fans can enjoy on 7 February, when Super Bowl LV will air.
“I’m sharing my favorite game day recipes ... Crab Cake Bites and Buffalo Crab Dip,” Fuller said.
The recipes have been advertised on foodnetwork.com since 13 January, and are aimed at “introducing more consumers to the delights of surimi seafood made with Wild Alaska Pollock,” according to GAPP.
“Made with delicious fully cooked Louis Kemp Crab Delights made from sustainable Wild Alaska Pollock, these quick [and] easy crave-able recipes are sure to not make you crabby, even if your favorite team loses,” Fuller said.
The campaign is part of GAPP’s North American Partnership Program, and coincides with the launch of Louis Kemp’s new “buy online” website feature. A USD 0.50 (EUR 0.41) rebate is being offered by the brand via the popular coupon website Ibotta, allowing consumers to try consumers who try and buy any of its products during the same time period.
“Surimi seafood is the perfect option for consumers looking to introduce something new, fun, trendy and sustainable to their snack stadiums and game-day delights this year,” GAPP CEO Craig Morris said. “It’s time that Super Bowl Sunday became synonymous with Surimi and we’re so excited to partner with Louis Kemp and the amazing Nancy Fuller to show consumers that surimi seafood is not only a touchdown—it’s a going to be your new go-to MVP.”
The one-of-a-kind recipes have already found a fan in the GAPP CEO.
“These recipes make me want to dance in the endzone and I know that they’ll make everyone feel the same. Cheers to Surimi Super Bowl LV!” Morris said.
WalMart, Kroger, Hy-Vee, Albertsons/Safeway, Wakefern, Target, Meijer, and other major retailers nationwide all carry Louis Kemp Crab Delights.
