Chicken of the Sea rolls out new tuna, salmon line
Chicken of the Sea has launched Wild Catch, a line of shelf-stable hand-selected cuts of fish packed with water and sea salt.
The line, packed in 4.5-ounce containers, includes responsibly wild-caught, preservative-free Albacore Tuna, Ahi Yellowfin Tuna, and Alaskan Salmon.
It is available at retailers across the United States.
"Wild Catch is the delicious answer for today's consumers who are looking for a healthy, all-natural and versatile protein they can add to their everyday meals," Chicken of the Sea International Director of Innovation Patty Essick said in a press release.
"Whether topping a salad for lunch, adding as the finishing touch to your favorite pasta dish for dinner, or enjoying right out of the cup as a snack, Wild Catch is perfect for anyone looking for a nutritious, high-quality protein any time of day,” Essick added.
Each serving contains 23 grams of protein. The Wild Catch packages feature a transparent window along with a resealable lid.
Last year, Chicken of the Sea successfully launched Infusions, a line of ready-to-eat, wild-caught tuna infused with herbs and spices. Infusions flavors include Lemon & Thyme, Sundried Tomato, Thai Chili, and Basil, along with the recently-launched Smoked and Cracked Black Pepper flavor.
Designed for a light meal or snack on-the-go, Infusions is a resealable, single-serve recyclable cup of wild-caught tuna with a built-in fork. It is geared towards busy millennials who aspire to healthier habits, Chicken of the Sea said in a press release.
