37 Seafood Excellence Global awards finalists announced for 2019 contest

Thirty-seven finalists from 12 countries around the world will compete in the 2019 Seafood Excellence Global awards competition, set to take place during Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global in Brussels, Belgium from 7 to 9 May, event organizer Diversified Communications announced on 3 April. 

The annual product competition seeks to highlight and recognize the best seafood offerings featured at the exposition. Two grand prizes will be awarded for the Best Retail Product and the Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product at the expo, with an additional five special awards presented for innovation, convenience, health & nutrition, retail packaging, and seafood product line.  

All seafood products entered into the competition, including the 37 finalists, will be on display during the three-day exposition in Hall 8 at Stand #4430. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and reception on Tuesday, 7 May, in Auditorium 2000 from 18:15 until 20:00 at the Brussels Expo, where SEG19 is taking place.
