US shrimp imports inched down in July 2022

The United States imported a total of 148.9 million pounds, or 67,557 metric tons (MT), of shrimp in July 2022. India, Ecuador, and Indonesia ranked as the top three exporters of shrimp to the U.S. in the month, as has been the case throughout each month of 2022 thus far.

The cumulative total of U.S. shrimp imports decreased in the month from July 2021, when the U.S. imported a total of 167.7 million pounds (76,080 MT) ...
