-Baton Rouge, Louisiana U.S.A.-based Louisiana Fish Fry Products announced former Dallas Cowboy and current ESPN analyst Marcus Spears has been hired as its new chief fry officer. The supplier of Louisiana-style breading, batters, boiled seasonings, sauces, and spices has hired Spears to offer his expertise on frying products.
"I've lived all over the U.S. in my career, and cooking with Louisiana Fish Fry Products always reminds me of home," Spears said. "Growing up in Baton Rouge, I was always watching my grandmother cook for us. I would watch her fry fish in a cast iron skillet using 'the blue bag' mix, which made it so crispy and flavorful. As I got older and started cooking for myself, I quickly learned the blue bag was Louisiana Fish Fry. So, I guess you could say I have a pretty impressive resume to join the team as Chief Fry Officer."
- Sarah Crowley joined the Seafood Nutrition Partnership as its new vice president of marketing and communications. She joined the company in February, according to her LinkedIn, and Corey Bachman has been appointed the new communications manager for the Seafood Nutrition Partnership, according to his LinkedIn. SNP’s former director of communications, Andrea Albersheim, left the organization in December 2022, to join the American Chemistry Council as its associate director in public affairs and sustainability.
